Compass Corporate is seeking a highly motivated Senior Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. You will assess processes, controls, and systems, conducting comprehensive audits across departments to drive efficiency and compliance.

This role offers exposure to financial, operational, and compliance reviews, with opportunities for leadership and career growth within a global foodservice and support services company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of internal/audit or related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills; knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% across US; valid driver’s license.
• CPA, CIA, and/or CFE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver a portfolio of primarily financial audits with other reviews.
• Assess risks and effectiveness of financial and operational processes and controls.
• Use data analytics, automation, and AI tools to expand audit coverage.
• Develop clear findings and actionable, risk-based recommendations.
• Communicate results to management through discussions, presentations, and reports.
• Monitor action plans and report significant issues or delays.
• Contribute to risk assessments, audit programs, and tools enhancements.
