Baker Tilly in Frisco, TX seeks an Internal Audit & Risk Senior Consultant to help clients assess risks, strengthen internal controls, and enhance governance across complex environments. You will work with client executives, develop risk-based engagement plans, and deliver insightful recommendations.

You will collaborate with a dynamic Risk Advisory team, advancing your technical skills and delivering measurable value to diverse clients.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree
• Three (3) years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related program (preferred)
• CPA or CIA certifications preferred
• 3+ years experience with risk advisory, internal/external audit, SOX, business process reengineering, and/or internal controls
• Experience as a client serving professional for a consulting firm desired
• Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills, with strong attention to detail
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Responsabilités

• Work closely with client executives and management teams to understand their businesses and identify, assess, and manage risks across processes and systems
• Develop in-depth knowledge of clients' businesses and industries through direct client interaction
• Propose improvements based on client operations and objectives
• Provide strategic business assurance by aiding in new processes and controls implementation
• Assess and optimize risk across SOX, operational audit, and ERM
• Review processes against frameworks, identify gaps, and communicate issues
• Draft executive summaries and final client reports
• Present findings to internal and external audiences
• Grow knowledge of technology environments and tools through diverse engagements
• Mentor and develop junior team members
