Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Manager of Internal Audit to oversee audit and risk management in designated areas. You will lead financial, process and IT audits, develop objectives, and guide a team to ensure strong controls and compliance with laws and regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 5+ years’ audit experience, and strong communication. Prefer CPA/CIA/CISA and a supervisory background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, technology, or related discipline.
• Strong audit knowledge and ability to apply auditing concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff with professional and technical guidance to satisfy audit objectives and scope.
• Create, review, and approve audit workpapers and audit communications per standards.
• Perform internal audits including planning, testing, and reporting in line with SOX and other standards.
• Lead risk assessment processes and develop audit objectives, scope and programs.
• Lead or participate in special audits and projects as required.
• Ensure IAAS resources are effectively scheduled across engagements.
