Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Senior Internal Audit Data Analyst to lead the data analytics strategy within our audit methodology. The role covers compliance, operational, financial, and SOX audits, with hybrid in-office/remote work and regular business hours.

You will plan and perform data analytics, communicate results with visualizations, and train the team. A strong background in data analysis and SAP/Gemini tools is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in data analysis, consulting, and/or continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Statistics or related is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience with SAP and SAP data analysis tools (e.g., SAP HANA, SAP Information Steward) is preferred.
• Experience using Gemini and its suite (e.g., Gems, Agent Builder) is preferred.
• Strong quantitative reasoning and ability to present results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Plans and performs data analytics and auditing procedures for operational, financial, technology and compliance projects.
• Communicates results using data analytics and data visualization to tell the story clearly and understandably.
• Assists in optimizing audit coverage and sampling across focus areas.
• Leads training to raise the team's proficiency with emerging tools and techniques.
• Champions best practices to improve audit efficiency and risk management.
