Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Interiors Architect/Interior Designer to lead the design of interior environments within hyperscale data centers and mission critical facilities.

The role covers programming through construction administration, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring code compliance, accessibility, and life safety standards. Strong Revit/BIM skills and a track record on data center projects are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in interior architecture/design.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM-based project delivery.
• Experience developing construction documents and technical detailing.
• Strong knowledge of codes, ADA, life safety, and architectural specs.
• FF&E specification and finish material selection.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design efforts for data center projects from programming through construction administration.
• Develop space planning and interior design solutions for office, control room, operations center, and other spaces within data center environments.
• Create space plans, renderings, mood boards, and finish presentation materials.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural construction documents and technical details.
• Mentor junior architects and designers while providing technical leadership.
