Job summary

CetraRuddy Architecture, a leading global design firm, seeks an experienced Interior Designer to lead multifamily interior projects and transform office spaces into residential buildings. You will collaborate with Designers and project teams to produce detailed drawings and presentations from concept through construction.

You will mentor junior designers, coordinate with clients and consultants, and ensure designs meet codes, accessibility, and budget constraints while maintaining design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• 8–10 years of interior design experience with 4+ years in multifamily, adaptive reuse, or hospitality projects.
• Strong design principles, aesthetics, and technical execution.
• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams across project phases.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
• Proactive communication and team-oriented mindset.
• Open to firm-wide initiatives and an inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design layouts and frameworks across multiple projects, aligning with goals and intent.
• Mentor Intermediate and Junior Designers, delegating tasks and ensuring high-quality execution.
• Develop and refine drawings, renderings, and presentations for reviews and construction phases.
• Coordinate with developers, architects, and clients to translate goals into solutions.
• Guide creation of space layouts maximizing functionality and code compliance.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations to support approvals.
• Oversee material, finish, fixture, and FFE selections ensuring cohesion with budget.
