Software Placement Group is seeking a Senior Interior Designer in Scottsdale to lead luxury residential and custom-home projects from concept through construction, installation, and final styling.

This role blends creative vision with technical and project-management expertise, collaborating with luxury clients, architects, builders, vendors, and trades. In-office, full-time position in Scottsdale, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Significant experience with luxury residential or custom-home projects.
• Strong portfolio of sophisticated, high-end residential interiors.
• Experience managing projects from concept through construction and installation.
• Strong knowledge of millwork, cabinetry, stone, tile, lighting, fixtures, furnishings, and detailing.
• Experience working directly with architects, builders, contractors, and high-end clients.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead luxury residential interior design projects from concept through completion.
• Develop design concepts, floor plans, elevations, finish palettes, furniture plans, and presentations.
• Select flooring, stone, tile, cabinetry, millwork, hardware, plumbing fixtures, lighting, furnishings, artwork, and accessories.
• Lead client presentations and guide clients through design selections and approvals.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, project managers, vendors, artisans, and specialty trades.
• Manage multiple projects, design schedules, budgets, selections, and procurement timelines.
• Produce and review interior design drawings, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, and millwork details.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, samples, specifications, and submittals.
• Conduct site visits and monitor construction for compliance with design intent.
• Develop FF&E, custom furniture, lighting, artwork, and accessory selections.
• Oversee procurement, installation, final styling, punch lists, and project closeout.
• Provide leadership and direction to junior designers and project team members.
