Job summary

CLT Recruiters is seeking a Senior Interior Designer for a top boutique residential design firm in New York City. You will be involved in all phases from initial site survey to final installation and work closely with the Principal.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in interior design with 8–10 years of residential experience and are highly proficient in AutoCAD to produce construction documents. Millwork detailing, Studio Designer knowledge a plus, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in interior design and 8–10 years of residential design experience.
Proficient in AutoCAD to produce construction documents.
Experience with millwork design and detailing.
Studio Designer knowledge a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
Strong written and oral communication.
Able to work independently as a self-starter.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with vendors, consultants and clients.

Responsibilities

Involved in all phases of design projects from initial site survey to final installation.
Develop design concepts, specify FF&E and manage project milestones.
Coordinate with Principal, vendors and clients to ensure quality outcomes.
