Job Juncture in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Senior Interior Designer to lead luxury residential interiors from concept to installation. You’ll craft concepts, elevations, finish palettes and furniture plans while coordinating with architects, builders and artisans.

Ideal candidates bring a sophisticated design sensibility, strong technical knowledge, and proven project management across multi‑million-dollar homes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Significant experience with luxury residential or custom-home projects.
• Strong portfolio of sophisticated, high-end residential interiors.
• Experience managing projects from concept through construction and installation.
• Strong knowledge of custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures, furnishings, and architectural detailing.
• Residential construction understanding.
• Experience working directly with architects, builders, contractors, and high-end clients.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software.
• Excellent client presentation, communication, organization, and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead luxury residential interior design projects from concept through completion.
• Develop design concepts, floor plans, elevations, finish palettes, furniture plans, and presentations.
• Select flooring, stone, tile, cabinetry, millwork, hardware, plumbing fixtures, lighting, furnishings, artwork, and accessories.
• Lead client presentations and guide clients through design selections and approvals.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, project managers, vendors, artisans, and specialty trades.
• Manage multiple projects, design schedules, budgets, selections, and procurement timelines.
• Produce and review interior design drawings, elevations, finish plans, and millwork details.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, samples, specifications, and submittals.
• Conduct site visits and monitor construction for design compliance.
• Develop FF&E, custom furniture, lighting, artwork, and accessory selections.
• Oversee procurement, installation, final styling, punch lists, and project closeout.
• Provide leadership to junior designers and project team members.

Senior Interior Designer – Luxury Residential

Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Job Type: Full-time | In Office
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $130,000+, depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead the design of high-end custom homes and luxury residential projects from initial concept through construction, installation, and final styling.

The ideal candidate will have a sophisticated design aesthetic, strong technical and construction knowledge, and experience working directly with luxury residential clients, architects, builders, vendors, and specialty trades.

This position is ideal for a designer who can balance creative vision with the technical and project-management requirements of complex custom residences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead luxury residential interior design projects from concept through completion.
• Develop design concepts, floor plans, elevations, finish palettes, furniture plans, and presentations.

Salary: $130,000+, depending on experience.
