Job summary

Forge & Bow Dwellings, a Fort Collins-based residential design & build firm, seeks a Lead or Senior Interior Designer to collaborate with the Director of Design, determine space requirements, select finish materials, and oversee installation while adhering to building codes and inspection regulations.

The role requires Revit and extensive interior design experience, with duties spanning budget review, space planning, bid management, and client presentations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year Revit experience
• 5+ years of interior design experience professionally
• Proficient drafting skills
• Experience with Photoshop and Google Suites

Responsibilities

• Review client goals and project requirements.
• Review/determine use and flow of spaces.
• Review project budget/allowances for finish materials.
• Sketch furnishing maps using Revit.
• Specify interior materials and furnishings.
• Initiate and manage bids from subcontractors.
• Draw interior elevations using Revit.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Prepare client presentation materials.
• Oversee ordering of materials and selections.
• Perform CA (Construction Administration).

Job description

Forge & Bow Dwellings, a Fort Collins-based residential design & build firm, is seeking a Lead or Senior Interior Designer (experience dependent). This position will collaborate with the Director of Design and is responsible for making the interior spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by determining space requirements, selecting finish materials, and overseeing installation of design elements in consideration of building codes and inspection regulations. The Interior Designer contributes to the overall organization by participating/consulting with colleagues in all phases of the Design (Conceptual, Design Development, and Construction Docs), providing productive feedback for internal and external processes, and strengthening a positive work culture by respecting all Colleagues, Clients, Vendors, and Subcontractors.

Necessary Experience:

Revit (1+ years)

Interior Design (5+ years professionally)

Drafting

Photoshop

Google Suites
