Job summary

OpenAI's Supply Chain Technology team seeks a Senior Integrations Engineer to design, build, and operate integrations connecting OpenAI's supply chain ecosystem, using Python and APIs to ensure reliable data flows across enterprise systems and partners.

You will own architecture, deployment, and production support, partnering with Hardware Operations, IT, and product teams to migrate from legacy systems to modern cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in integration development and architecture.
• Proficiency with at least two integration platforms (e.g., Workato, MuleSoft, or OIC).
• Strong Python development and production-grade apps.
• Experience with ERP/SCM, e-commerce, 3PLs, and data formats like JSON/XML/CSV.

Responsibilities

• Define integration architecture and reusable design patterns across the supply chain tech landscape.
• Build and support integrations connecting ERP/SCM systems, internal apps, e-commerce, 3PLs, CMOs, retailers, and distributors.
• Develop workflows, APIs, event-driven services, and batch/file interfaces.
• Build production Python applications, integration services, connectors, and tools with automated tests.
• Implement API and EDI partner integrations with data mappings, onboarding, testing, and reconciliation.
• Develop MCP servers, plugins, or agentic automation for enterprise workflows.
• Own production reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and recovery.
• Embed access controls and auditability to support SOX and internal controls.
