Job summary

ELLKAY is seeking a Sr. Integration Engineer in the US for full-time work, coordinating complex lab interface projects. You will implement and oversee projects spanning multiple software solutions, coordinate timelines, and serve as the main point of contact with clients and teams. Strong networking and HL7 experience are essential.

The role emphasizes documentation and professional communication across organizational levels, with hybrid/remote options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of networking and different connectivity solutions (e.g., VPN, SFTP, TCP-IP, etc.).
• Demonstrated organization and planning abilities.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to exercise effective decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Knowledge of using Postman application.
• HL7 knowledge (e.g., ORM, ORU, ADT, SIU, DFT, etc.) (preferred).
• Experience working with different data formats (e.g., HL7, XML, CSV, etc.) (preferred).
• Knowing different types of API security connectivity (preferred).
• Knowledge of healthcare data & workflow (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in application integration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure proprietary software solutions remotely.
• Oversee the successful implementation of complex lab interface projects that span across multiple software solutions in the ELLKAY product suite.
• Plan and schedule project timelines.
• Serve as primary point of contact for all project communication.
• Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization.
• Ensure effective handoff for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation for each project.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Perform other technical duties as required.
