Job summary

Belay Technologies seeks a Senior (Integration) Software Engineer to join our intel team in the Baltimore/Washington area. You will support a portfolio of enterprise applications, focusing on integrating IBM Maximo with other systems and modernizing cloud-based workloads.

The role involves configuring, developing, and sustaining COTS and GOTS solutions, collaborating with government stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of software development experience in programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Experience with Java development.
• Experience with a JavaScript framework such as Angular.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET.
• Experience with REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications with external systems.
• Experience developing in Linux.
• Experience with Docker for containerized deployment.
• Experience in Agile software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainment, modernization, and enhancement of multiple enterprise COTS and GOTS applications for Infrastructure & Logistics.
• Serve as the primary software integration engineer for the IBM Maximo product and other enterprise applications.
• Configure, implement, and support COTS/GOTS applications and integrations to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with Government stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver enhancements.
• Perform configuration, deployment, system integration, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including code modifications where required.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP, APIs, and enterprise integration technologies.
• Analyze system performance and proactively resolve issues.
• Produce level-of-effort estimates and assist with release planning.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with vendors on upgrades and solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and mentor junior engineers.
