Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a hands-on Integration Engineer to deploy, integrate, maintain, and support vision and detection systems across laboratory, production, customer, and field environments. You will bridge software, electrical, and mechanical disciplines, manage configurations, and troubleshoot issues while traveling to customer sites and test assets.

We value experience in field service or aerospace integration, familiarity with Linux/Windows, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or aerospace integration is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems, sensors, computing hardware.
• Familiarity with Linux- and Windows-based systems and networking.
• Strong communication and travel ability (~50%).
• Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, integrate, configure, and support deployment of vision systems on aircraft and test assets.
• Load, configure, update, and validate software releases per instructions.
• Perform system bring-up, checkout, and testing of interfaces.
• Maintain hardware/software configuration records with serial numbers and versions.
• Read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals.
• Troubleshoot software, electrical, network, sensor, and mechanical issues.
• Document field issues and corrective actions in service reports.
