Job summary

Perr&Knight in the United States is seeking a Senior Insurance Forms Consultant to lead Product Design and multi-disciplinary consulting for clients. The role includes reviewing insurance laws, performing competitive research, and drafting state forms to address compliance, while working directly with state filings analysts and clients to achieve project goals.

The successful candidate will guide project teams, prepare proposals, and deliver clear reports.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience with Property & Casualty forms, underwriting, or regulatory compliance.
• BA/BS degree required.
• Familiarity with insurance form drafting.
• Understanding of underwriting, rating, regulatory compliance and the insurance product.

Responsibilities

• Review insurance laws and regulations and perform competitive research.
• Organize and present competitive information clearly.
• Draft basic product documents and state forms for regulatory compliance.
• Prepare support and compliance reviews, including form checklists and filings.
• Collaborate with state filings analysts and clients to align goals and results.
• Draft form interrogatory responses and propose solutions.
• Keep informed on industry trends and perform peer reviews.
• Assist in proposals and prepare polished, professional reports.

The Senior Insurance Forms Consultant leads Product Design as well as multi-disciplinary consulting projects for Perr&Knight clients.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Accessing and reviewing insurance related laws and regulations
• Performing competitive research
• Organizing and presenting competitive information in a meaningful format
• Drafting basic product documents for new programs and creating state required forms to address compliance issues
• Preparing support and compliance reviews, including forms checklists and transmittals for form filings, including drafting explanatory language
• Working directly with state filings analysts
• Corresponding directly with clients on project goals and results
• Drafting form interrogatory responses
• Recommending solutions and/or alternatives to clients
• Keeping informed on industry trends, changes in the marketplace, etc.
• Performing peer reviews
• Assisting in the preparation of proposals for projects to meet clients’ needs
• Preparing polished, professional, clear reports to present results/information
• Invoicing clients

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• 6 years experience with Property & Casualty Forms, Underwriting and/or Regulatory Compliance work
• BA/BS Degree
• Familiarity with insurance form drafting
• Understanding of complex aspects of underwriting, rating, regulatory compliance and the insurance product
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel & Word skills
• High level of verbal and written communication

$90,000 - $130,000 a year
