The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to join our Tennessee-based litigation team. You will independently manage a complex caseload from inception through resolution, partnering with claims professionals and insured clients to deliver strategic, cost-effective outcomes and exceptional legal representation.

This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in a Tennessee office.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5+ years of litigation experience; trial experience preferred.
• Must be admitted to the Tennessee Bar.
• Licensed to practice law in assigned jurisdictions; Tennessee active status required.
• Insurance defense litigation experience required.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to collaborate.

Responsabilidades

• Independently investigates and manages moderate to high exposure civil cases from start to resolution.
• Meet with clients and claims professionals to resolve cases cost-effectively.
• Conduct pre-trials, mediations, arbitrations, and related proceedings; may conduct trials.
• Advise on evaluations of legal files for claims professionals.
• Provide legal advice and negotiate settlements as directed.
• Attend round table discussions on case status and trial readiness.
