You will manage a diverse caseload from intake through resolution, working directly with carrier clients while maintaining high standards of client service, case management, and litigation performance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive civil litigation experience and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualificações

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license required.
• 10+ years of civil litigation experience focused on insurance defense.
• Experience handling trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
• Experience with carrier clients and adhering to carrier litigation guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain compliant billing practices.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a docket of insurance defense matters across various liability claims.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert and key witnesses.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate with carrier clients on strategy, status, budgets, and developments.
• Comply with carrier litigation guidelines and billing protocols.
• Coordinate and manage expert witnesses and invoicing.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for efficient case management.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
