The role emphasizes independent work, partnership growth, and a balanced environment with flexibility, including one day per week to work from home.

The candidate will handle first-party and third-party coverage analyses, drafting opinions and letters, and managing litigation from inception to resolution in Texas.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of carrier-side insurance coverage experience.
• Experience drafting coverage opinions and denial letters.
• Experience handling declaratory judgment actions and related coverage litigation.
• Ability to manage matters from inception through resolution, including mediation.
• Licensed and in good standing in Texas.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal oversight.

I am working directly with the owners of a well-established Texas law firm that is seeking a Senior Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its carrier-side insurance coverage practice. This role works closely with the shareholder who leads the group and offers a clear path for long-term growth and partnership within a firm that prioritizes balance and sustainability. The firm is committed to providing sophisticated coverage work within a balanced environment, offering realistic expectations and built-in flexibility.

The salary for this role is market-competitive and commensurate with experience

What We Need

• 7+ years of carrier-side insurance coverage experience
• Deep experience with first-party and third-party coverage analysis and litigation
