Job summary

Crimson Group is seeking a Journeyman Instrument Technician in Texas to drive maintenance excellence. You will inspect, service, and repair process control instrumentation and electrical systems, ensuring safe and compliant operations.

You’ll troubleshoot complex equipment, calibrate instruments, install new technologies, and document work thoroughly. We value strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Instrument Technician with strong electrical knowledge.
• 5-10 years of experience with process control instrumentation and electrical/industrial electronics.
• Certified training with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical valve actuators is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, and timely repairs to maintain equipment.
• Operate and maintain equipment to high standards.
• Collaborate with the I&E Supervisor to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate analyzers, PLCs, and process control systems.
• Install, program, and evaluate new technologies for efficiency.
• Document and maintain records for future reference.
• Promote safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
