Jacobs is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Manager to lead and grow a local team in Santa Clara, CA. You will oversee scope, schedule, and budget while architecting full automation solutions including PLC, HMI, SCADA, networks, and field devices.

Distinctive focus on usability, performance, and reliability, with mentoring and cross-team coordination across global groups. Relocation may be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation or Mechatronics Engineering from a USA accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Minimum 10 years of direct relatable experience.
• Advanced experience with Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000, RSLogix), Siemens (TIA Portal, S7), Emerson (Machine Edition).
• Expertise with SCADA platforms (Ignition, FactoryTalk, WinCC, Cimplicity).
• Experience with motion control, robotics, and high-speed automation systems.
• Familiarity with MES integration, databases (SQL), and IIoT systems.
