Job summary

Zachry Group seeks a Senior Engineer I&C in Houston to lead instrumentation & control design for power projects. You will supervise engineering tasks, produce I/O lists, data sheets, narratives, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure quality deliverables.

The role requires a strong I&C background, 10+ years in the power sector, and familiarity with ABB, Emerson Ovation, Siemens T3000, and GE MarkVIe/MicroNet. Travel and field work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Strong background in instrument and control systems within power industry.
• 10+ years of instrumentation and controls experience in power projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design tasks for I&C controls across projects.
• Produce instrument index, control system data sheets, I/O lists and narratives.
• Direct drafting and reviews to ensure quality and conformance to standards.
• Coordinate with project team and external vendors on specifications and estimates.
