Job summary

Air Products, a global leader in industrial gases, seeks a Principal Instrument Technician to provide field support, calibrations, maintenance, and repair for analytical equipment. The role may expand to pressure, flow, temperature, and moisture equipment based on skill set.

You will interact daily with R&D and other Air Products teams in a fast-paced environment. With a focus on safety and reliability, you will service equipment at plant sites and provide on-demand rental gear.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a laboratory or equivalent environment.
• Hands-on experience with gases, chemicals and analytical equipment preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to customers in the field.
• Servicing and repairing equipment requiring electrical and mechanical skills.
• Calibrating and maintaining analytical equipment.
• Providing on-demand rental equipment to customers and plant sites.
• Performing data entry and database maintenance for rentals, calibrations, and inventory.
• Working independently and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Adhering to all safety requirements and compliance.
