Job summary

TOTAL Deutschland GmbH is looking for a Sr. Engineer (Instrument) to join their dynamic Maintenance Team at the Port Arthur platform in Texas. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering along with at least 3 years of experience in instrument engineering within a petrochemical environment. Key responsibilities include leading troubleshooting efforts, developing documentation for safety compliance, and supporting large capital projects, all within a vibrant refining community close to Houston.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive instrument engineering experience in a petrochemical facility.
• This position requires daily interface with many disciplines.
• On call 24/7 with extended work hours during turn-arounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and troubleshoot plant instrumentation issues.
• Develop Management of Change documentation for OSHA compliance.
• Support large capital projects for instrument systems design.
