Job description

Job Title: Interior Components and Systems Development Lead

Contract

Qualifications:

1. 8+ years of demonstrated experience as a detail-oriented Interior Components and Systems development lead for Instrument Panels
2. Knowledge and understanding of automotive Interior Components and Systems industry benchmark, trends and supplier competencies
3. Experience creating/improving/establishing technical product specifications and timelines to achieve an accelerated development cycle towards SOP
4. Vehicle and product launch experience
5. Experience creating complex CAD models in CATIA V6 quickly and efficiently while holding CAD part, tree, links & publications to an excellent standard
6. Proven experience in interior process, such as wrapping, injection molding, painting, compression molding and other state of the art manufacturing processes
7. Proven experience in common structural part manufacturing processes such as stamping, extrusion and casting
8. Proven experience in geometrical dimensioning and tolerance in detail through applying tolerance targets into component locators, attachment methods and overall gap and flushness requirements
9. Strong in engineering fundamentals to create solutions that are not yet state of the art
10. Experienced in modal analysis, finite element method analysis and computer fluid dynamics

Advantageous:

1. Ability to lead a cross-functional team of different cultures and nationalities
2. Fluent German and English, a third language is preferred
3. Work ethic that results in overall best solutions even when required in continuous changing and high-pressure situations
4. One full program cycle experience from concept to production launch in automotive Interior Components and Systems
