Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control Engineer to lead design for industrial/process facilities. You will develop control philosophies, P&IDs, specifications, datasheets, loop sheets, and wiring diagrams, and work with PLC/DCS systems from major vendors.

You will guide engineering teams, manage manpower and schedules, prepare hours and budgets, and coordinate with clients, plant teams, subcontractors, and authorities, ensuring compliance with industry codes and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years of engineering design experience.
• PE license is required.
• Strong experience with instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience in chemical, refining, petrochemical, or specialty chemical plants.
• PLC/DCS experience and field/project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead instrumentation and control system design for industrial/process facilities.

• Perform quality checks and provide technical guidance to engineering/design staff.
• Ensure designs comply with ISA, NFPA, API, ASME, OSHA, and applicable regulations.
• Support field activities and travel to project sites when required.
