Job summary

Oneida ESC Group seeks a full-time Instructional Course Design & Maintenance Support professional to design, develop, and maintain online courses for USNCC. You will collaborate with faculty, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to align curricula with outcomes and industry best practices.

Responsibilities include creating design maps, storyboards, assessments, multimedia assets, and instructor guides, plus developing orientation and training modules.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of experience developing online asynchronous and competency-based education (CBE) courses for accredited colleges, universities, or military-affiliated educational institutions.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience applying adult learning (andragogical) best practices in instructional design for working adult learners.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience developing faculty development and online pedagogy training programs.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience designing student success and online learning readiness courses.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience operating, building, and maintaining Learning Management Systems (LMS) within higher education or government training environments.
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status meeting federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain online asynchronous, competency-based courses within the USNCC LMS.
• Collaborate with USNCC faculty and SMEs to align curriculum with learning outcomes and best practices.
• Create course design maps, storyboards, assessments, multimedia assets, and instructor guides.
• Develop online student orientation, faculty training, and community hub sites.
• Migrate content into LMS platforms with SCORM/xAPI compliance.
• Develop accessibility-compliant materials meeting WCAG 2.1 AA and UDL principles.
• Conduct QA reviews, testing, and reporting prior to course launches.
• Maintain course content, update links/resources, revise modules, and ensure compliance with DoD standards.
• Provide project management support with status reporting and stakeholder meetings.
• Deliver LMS navigation and multimedia support to faculty and students; support a 24/7 learning environment.
• Generate weekly/monthly reports for course development and help desk operations.
