Job description

The Senior Institutional Giving Manager plays a key role in CVOEO’s Philanthropy and Communications team, working closely with the Executive Director and the Chief Philanthropy & Communications Officer.

Job Type: Full-time.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
  • Write proposals for unrestricted operating revenue, restricted projects, and special campaigns.
  • Conduct prospect research to sustain and grow funding sources.
  • Submit timely and accurate reports for grant-funded projects.
  • Collaborate with funders, community partners, program directors, and administrative staff to sustain CVOEO programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, public administration, business, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with nonprofit grant writing and fund development.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience with writing state and/or federal grants.
  • Strong editing skills, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive environment.
Location & Schedule

This is a hybrid position (3 days per week in office) based in Burlington, VT.

Salary

$80,622 – $85,655 annually.
