Job summary

trinitysolarextcs is seeking motivated and reliable Solar Installers to join a field-based team focused on bringing solar energy systems to life for homeowners and businesses. The role emphasizes hands-on outdoor work, safety, and high-quality workmanship.

The position involves climbing and working on rooftops, reading schematics, and collaborating with site supervisors to overcome challenges while maintaining thorough documentation of installations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in electrical work, roofing, or solar installation preferred (but not required).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using power tools, hand tools, and basic electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to work at heights for extended periods, including climbing ladders, working on roofs, and navigating uneven surfaces.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality craftsmanship.
• Dependable work ethic and punctuality are a must.
• Must have access to reliable transportation to travel to job sites or company office, as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper system layout, orientation, and alignment for maximum efficiency and compliance.
• Assess job site conditions for safety hazards and structural integrity before and during installation.
• Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to resolve installation challenges and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation including photos, site layouts, and installation details; submit all paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.
