Job summary

The Arkansas Department of Labor and Licensing (ADLL) seeks an Inspector III to ensure operations, processes, and facilities meet internal standards and regulatory guidelines. This role identifies deficiencies, risks, and non-compliance and recommends corrective actions to drive performance and safeguard public safety.

As part of the team, you’ll work with management to discuss findings, prepare reports, and track corrective actions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 6 years in inspections, quality control, internal auditing, or compliance.
• Must possess a valid Arkansas driver’s license.
• Experience in inspections, quality control, internal auditing, or compliance.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and prepare detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections of facilities, processes, and procedures.
• Identify risks, non-compliance, or areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports with findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, corrective actions, and follow-up evaluations.
• Provide guidance and training on compliance best practices and updated standards.
• Oversee implementation of improvements and track effectiveness over time.
