Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Lead Analyst, Insights & Analytics - Collections to drive data-driven decision making. You will lead complex data analytics engagements, develop reports and dashboards, and provide strategic insights to improve business performance across collections.

This role emphasizes collaboration with multiple departments and senior stakeholders. Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in data analytics within banking, strong SAS/SQL/Python expertise, and ability to translate business

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Typically 6 years in banking, financial services, or similar background.
Typically 6 years data analytics experience.
Advanced in SAS, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Excel, or Power BI; ability to write complex SQL queries.
Strong interpersonal and cross-department collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead complex data analytic engagements, including data access requests, test strategy design, and documenting results.
Deepen business knowledge to support data analytics product development and sales lifecycle understanding.
Generate strategic data insights and actionable recommendations in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations to enable data-driven decisions.
Present findings clearly to key stakeholders and translate requirements into solutions.
