Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a senior technical leader to head the Insight product's strategic direction and architecture. You will oversee design, analytics, data integration, and operations, ensuring secure, scalable digital platforms aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience: 8+ years in digital/IT positions in the relevant IT discipline; 3+ years in management/leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the Insight product's technical strategy, architecture, engineering standards, and technology roadmap.
• Provide technical oversight across design, application development, reporting & analytics development, data warehouse, integration, testing, deployment, operations, and ongoing support.
• Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, reliable, maintainable, and compliant with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
• Guide solution architecture and major technical decisions, balancing delivery needs, long-term sustainability, cost, risk, and technical debt.
• Establish engineering governance, development practices, quality standards, documentation expectations, and release controls.
• Monitor system performance, availability, defects, vulnerabilities, incidents, and operational health; drive timely remediation and continuous improvement.
• Lead technical planning for integrations, data migration, upgrades, infrastructure, disaster recovery, and product lifecycle management.
• Partner with product, security, infrastructure, data, architecture, and business teams to translate requirements into feasible technical solutions.
• Manage technical dependencies, delivery risks, vendor performance, licensing considerations, and engineering resource needs.
• Lead, coach, and develop technical leaders and engineering teams while building accountability, collaboration, and strong delivery practices.
• Manage contractors effectively.
