Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent cybersecurity experience; alternative path with 7+ years IT security accepted.
• At least 3 years of cybersecurity experience across multiple domains listed in qualifications.
• Experience building relationships with stakeholders and vendors at all levels.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to analyze data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Willing to travel up to 10% for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, investigates and analyzes response activities for cybersecurity incidents.
• Identifies security flaws; tests and tunes incident response procedures.
• Evaluates event flows to identify risks and implement solutions.
• Assists in monitoring designated networks and systems security.
• Prepares incident reports and briefs for IT security teams.
• Exercises independent judgment on complex issues and methods.
• Assists with security audits, risk analysis, and forensics.
• Coordinates across groups to create formal security networks.
• May supervise other specialists and mentor junior staff.
• Contributes subject matter expertise on attackers, trends and defenses.
