Qualifications
- Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, injury prevention, behavioral or social science, medicine, clinical science, environmental health, or another applicable discipline.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience in unintentional injury prevention.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert scientific, technical, and programmatic consultation on unintentional injury prevention, injury epidemiology, surveillance, prevention science, and related public health initiatives.
- Lead and supervise literature reviews, environmental scans, evidence syntheses, and other analyses to inform programs and decisions.
- Translate findings into actionable recommendations for federal public health leaders and stakeholders.
- Guide strategy and implementation across multidisciplinary teams to advance injury prevention priorities.
