Job summary
Corning is seeking a seasoned Injection Molding Process Engineer in Corning, NY to lead development, optimization, and validation of molding processes for new product launches and transfers. You will partner with tooling, maintenance, quality, automation, and production teams to drive improvements in part quality, cycle time, scrap reduction, and process stability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field plus at least 3 years in injection molding process engineering.
- Hands-on experience developing and optimizing molding processes in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of molding machines, molds, hot runners, and resins.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and optimization of injection molding processes for new products and transfers.
- Troubleshoot defects and process issues; implement corrective actions.
- Support mold trials, process qualifications, and operator training while ensuring safety and quality.
