Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Network Architect with expertise in assessment, design & architecture to set up Data Center network infrastructure (Cisco Centric) and AWS cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessment, design & architecture, high- & low-level technical solutions, and setting up a robust technical architecture.
Technical Skills:
- Minimum of 14 years of experience in network architecture, design, and implementation, with a focus on data center networks specifically in the banking domain.
- Assess, design, and implement robust and scalable network architectures for data centers, leveraging Cisco solutions such as Cisco Nexus and ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure).
- Assess, design, and implement security controls, including segmentation, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS), ensuring data center infrastructure is resilient to cyber threats.
- Architect and design AWS-based cloud networking solutions to meet business requirements.
- Plan and execute data center consolidation strategies, reducing the number of data centers from multiple locations to a more efficient, centralized model while ensuring business continuity.
- Implement and optimize Cisco technologies including, but not limited to, Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco ACI, and Cisco Firepower for improved network performance and security.
- Develop and implement strategies for disaster recovery, redundancy, and high availability across the data centers.
- Work closely with other IT teams (storage, compute, and cloud) to integrate network designs with overall data center architecture and business needs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for network designs, configurations, and operational procedures. Implement and enforce network design best practices, standards, and guidelines.
- Expert-level knowledge in routing & switching, especially around Cisco Nexus and Cisco ACI.
- Expert-level knowledge in network security, specifically around Palo Alto, Cisco, and Fortinet firewalls.
- Domain knowledge of SP technologies like MPLS, Dark Fiber, Metro Ethernet, and Segment Routing.
- Domain knowledge in load balancing and high-availability architectures.
- Strong knowledge of network security concepts and technologies.
- Solution walkthrough with clients and coordinate with SMEs to implement the same.
Process Skills:
- Preparing Bill of Materials, solution presentations, and solution documents.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define the solution roadmap and milestones.
- Work on strategic projects that enhance current solution concepts and/or the creation of new ones.
- Contribute to the knowledge base of solutions and services by sharing best practices and lessons learned with clients.
- Engage in change management and capacity planning activities.

Qualification:
- At least 14 years of experience in assessment, design & architecture to set up network infrastructure, AWS Cloud, and Data Centre (Cisco Centric).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications in CCIE or equivalent.
