Job summary

The California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) is seeking an Information Technology Specialist II to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across cloud environments, servers, storage, networking, and identity services.

You will provide advanced technical expertise, drive security initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders to support CalHR's mission in public service.

Qualifications

• Describe hands-on experience designing, implementing, and hardening complex server infrastructure across hybrid environments (Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Azure).
• Detail expertise in managing enterprise storage alongside core server apps (AD, IIS, Citrix XenApp, Exchange).
• Describe experience configuring, securing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure (Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco, NAC/ForeScout) and leadership.
