DV Trading is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our IT team from New York, with options for Chicago or London offices. You will advance Windows, virtualization and cloud capabilities while partnering with security on IAM and hardening.

You will design, build, and maintain Windows Server and Desktop environments, deploy automation, and mentor junior staff while participating in on-call rotations. Competitive base salary with discretionary bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience as a senior infrastructure engineer with Windows, virtualization and cloud.
• Deep knowledge of Windows OS and virtualization technologies.
• Experience implementing identity platforms such as Azure AD and Active Directory.
• Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and IaC tools (Ansible, Salt, Terraform).
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; able to explain complex tech to non-tech audiences.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and maintain Windows Server and Desktop environments.
• Design, build and maintain virtualization and cloud environments.
• Leverage automation for deploying and supporting on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Partner with Security for IAM design and hardening.
• Ensure security best practices across environments including patching.
• Review and improve monitoring systems and processes.
• Perform Windows OS performance tuning.
• Document system designs, diagrams, processes and procedures.
• Promote and adopt Infrastructure as Code across all IT.
• Mentor junior IT staff and participate in on-call rotation.
