Job summary

Onebrief is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to own and operate secure, production-grade systems across cloud-native and edge deployments. You will collaborate with product and engineering to architect, build, and run the platform end to end, including RFCs and production code reviews.

You will work with GRC and mission owners to apply STIGs, CVE remediation, and audits for operations in IL5/IL6/JWICS environments, while delivering resilient services for military planning and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years operating production infrastructure in DevOps/DevSecOps, Platform, SRE, Cloud, or Infrastructure roles.
• Experience designing, building, and operating services in Go, Python, Rust, or TypeScript.
• Deep Kubernetes experience: multi-cluster, networking, storage, scale considerations.
• Expertise with AWS and Azure; cross-provider design instincts.
• Strong application and infrastructure security fundamentals.
• Demonstrated ability to build working solutions from scratch and connect apps.
• Experience packaging workloads for air-gapped environments.
• Leadership or mentorship experience.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, iterate, and deploy secure production systems across cloud-native and edge deployments.
• Embed with cross-functional teams and advise on infrastructure security and deployment practices.
• Own end-to-end infrastructure outcomes for one or more critical programs.
• Harden the artifact pipeline for cloud, single-tenant high-side, and air-gapped deployments.
