Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a highly skilled DevOps/Platform Engineer to manage and automate large-scale data infrastructure in Arizona. You will work with Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, MongoDB and PostgreSQL, ensuring robust, secure, and highly available data services.

Collaboration with engineering and customer support is essential to resolve production issues and keep services running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with large-scale datastores and diverse tech stack including Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, MongoDB and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Maintain deep understanding of data components and operate/auto­mate configured clusters.
• Develop infrastructure services to support a full DevOps model for the engineering team.
• Troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues with engineering and customer support.
• Protect petabytes of critical data ensuring safety, security, and availability.
