Job summary

Saransh Inc. seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, operate, and scale Ceph clusters for production workloads. You will manage Proxmox VE environments, integrate Ceph with OpenStack, and automate via IaC tools.

Qualifications

• Advanced hands-on experience designing, deploying, operating, troubleshooting, and scaling Ceph distributed storage environments for production workloads.
• Experience with Proxmox VE clustering, integration with Ceph, networking and storage lifecycle management.
• Strong background in OpenStack modules (Nova/Neutron/Cinder/Glance/Keystone) and VMware vSphere environments.
• Deep Linux engineering skills on Red Hat/Ubuntu derivatives, systemd, LVM, multipath, and kernel tuning.
• Expertise in automation using Ansible, Terraform, Git, Python and/or Bash.
• Solid understanding of IP networking, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and storage networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer multi-node Proxmox VE clusters with Ceph-backed storage.
• Deploy and manage KVM virtual machines and ensure cluster HA and quorum.
• Integrate Proxmox with Ceph-backed storage and OpenStack; plan migrations and upgrades.
• Configure Linux bridges, VLANs, bonding, and storage/network separation.
• Troubleshoot cluster, compute, storage, and VM performance issues; plan maintenance.
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management via APIs, IaC tooling and scripts.
• Plan and execute large-scale virtualization and storage migrations with rollback plans.
