Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) seeks an Infrastructure Application and DB SME Sr. to lead modernization efforts, focusing on cloud migration and Oracle-based environments.

You will implement modern databases, document environments, and shape the migration roadmap while providing technical direction and producing needed documentation. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of IT modernization experience, clearance, and cloud expertise (AWS/Azure/Google).

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of IT experience in modernization efforts.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT, or closely related discipline.
• Secret clearance required; IT-I/ Tier 5 at proposal submission.
• Experience with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud solutions.
• Experience with legacy system modernization and data migration.

Responsibilities

• Implement modern databases for cloud migration efforts and convert legacy DB to modern transactional relational design.
• Update current database environment assessment, document platforms, versions, configurations, data volumes and security controls.
• Develop and update database modernization strategy, architecture, and roadmap for prototype to production scaling.
• Implement design/architecture in development, test and pre-production environments.
• Define migration execution strategy and support pre-production cloud-native capabilities and ICAM integration.
• Serve as technical expert guiding infrastructure and database upgrade implementations and produce documentation/training.
