NVIDIA is seeking an automation engineer to own a config-as-code foundation for its EDA compute farm, migrating from partial systems and drift. You will design deployment pipelines, codify LSF configurations, and build templates that capture know-how in the repository instead of individual expertise.
Ideal candidates have 6+ years in infrastructure engineering, strong GitOps practices, and proficiency in Go, Python and shell, with hands-on experience automating stateful infrastructure.
Managing twenty-five scheduler cells by hand does not scale, and we are not going to try. NVIDIA is building a config-as-code foundation for its EDA compute farm, and we need an automation engineer to own it end to end. You are joining at the point where this is still partially manual and inconsistently applied across cells. That is the interesting version of the problem — you will be migrating off partial systems and reconciling drift, not starting from a blank repository.
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.

Applications for this job will be accepted at least until September 17, 2026.
