Job summary
Tiltedge Solutions in Chicago is seeking a QA Engineer with strong automotive infotainment and telematics testing capabilities. The role focuses on functional and system testing of infotainment features and connectivity across various vehicle configurations.
Responsibilities include test case creation, defect tracking in JIRA, and collaboration with developers and system engineers to drive issue resolution.
Qualifications
- 4–5 years of experience in Automotive QA/Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Infotainment and/or Telematics systems.
- Knowledge of CAN, UDS, Ethernet, and basic automotive communication.
- Experience with Bluetooth, CarPlay, Android Auto, Navigation and multimedia systems.
- Experience with manual testing, test case creation, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with automotive testing tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer is preferred.
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional and system testing of infotainment and telematics systems.
- Create and execute test cases based on requirements.
- Test features such as Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Navigation, Audio, and Connectivity.
- Perform integration, regression, and validation testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Work with developers and system engineers to resolve issues.
- Support testing across different vehicle and hardware configurations.
