Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven or more years of cybersecurity engineering, security operations or compliance-focused roles.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM technologies, such as Splunk.
• Experience with configuration monitoring and file integrity monitoring tools, including Tripwire Enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses related to NERC CIP requirements.
• Administer, monitor and optimize SIEM platforms for threat detection and incident investigation.
• Develop SIEM use cases, correlation rules, dashboards and reporting.
• Provide guidance to junior security analysts and engineers.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network and operations teams to improve system hardening.
• Support NERC CIP compliance across enterprise and OT environments.
• Participate in NERC CIP audits, evidence collection and remediation tracking.
• Create and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards and documentation.
• Analyze security events to identify indicators of compromise.
• Integrate log sources into centralized monitoring platforms.
• Maintain incident response playbooks and tabletop exercises.
• Support incident investigations in enterprise and OT/ICS environments.
