Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC seeks a seasoned security professional to lead assessments of threats, vulnerabilities, and risk, ensuring alignment with enterprise policies. You will develop mitigation strategies and document compliance for IT systems and cloud environments.

The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, supporting A&A activities, and briefing executives. A minimum of 8–12 years of relevant experience and a degree in a related field are expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency implementing security controls, risk assessments, and documenting compliance per NIST RMF and ISO standards.
• Experience evaluating and supporting documentation, validation, and accreditation processes for IT systems.
• Ability to manage multiple security assessment projects with cloud and on-prem environments.
• Special credentials may be required at the Task Order level.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of threats and vulnerabilities, determine deviations from policy, assess risk, and propose mitigations.
• Support development of security blueprints, models, and guidelines to maintain secure enterprise IT architecture.
• Use network and vulnerability scanning tools to interrogate systems for configuration and status.
• Serve as SME for the US Government Client A&A process and guide stakeholders and new resources.
• Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and brief executives.
