Job summary

West Bend Insurance Company is seeking an Information Security professional to strengthen and lead security initiatives across the enterprise. The role partners with business teams, drives projects, and identifies risks to ensure security is embedded in initiatives and policies.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in information security, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration, with preference for relevant certifications and a Bachelor’s degree in information systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years experience in IT or network security.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure.
• Experience performing risk business impact, control and vulnerability assessments.
• Experience with information security management frameworks; NIST, ISO 2700x, ITIL and/or COBITs

Responsibilities

• Support a comprehensive information security program under limited supervision.
• Execute information security projects as assigned.
• May lead moderate to large efforts.
• Collaborate with IT to deploy security controls and monitor configurations.
• Research security and privacy issues, new technologies, and hardening standards.
• Act as liaison on IT projects to address security issues.
• Develop strategies to enforce security requirements and identify risks.
• Execute information security risk assessment activities.
• Support analysis of complex security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with legal, IT and HR to create and enforce policies.
