This position involves managing technical support for Los Angeles County’s enterprise e-procurement system, collaborating with stakeholders, and leading project phases from design to post-implementation support. The role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and expertise in current industry technologies.

Essential Job Functions

• Acts as a senior technology consultant and liaison for the County's enterprise eProcurement System.
• Leads technical resources and manages workload across project phases.
• Identifies technical requirements from business and functional designs.
• Serves as owner of technical deliverables for the Source-To-Pay transformation.
• Designs service delivery models, performance frameworks, and develops operational plans and KPIs.
• Develops public/private partnerships and manages ongoing operations related to procurement technology.
• Advises management on technological developments and strategic IT policy decisions.

Requirements

Four years of recent experience at the level of Los Angeles County's class of Information Technology Specialist, ISD, or management experience at the level of Section Manager, ISD, or higher.

Must meet the specified experience requirements to be eligible.

License

Valid California Class C Driver License or alternative transportation method.

Physical Class

Class II – Light.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience supporting SaaS hosted systems, complex integrations, data warehouse, and report development.
• Experience designing and maintaining Source-to-Pay systems in high-matrix organizations.
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields.

Additional Information

Position is under emergency order, with initial employment up to 90 days, potentially leading to permanent employment based on performance.
