Praescient Analytics is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE Senior) in Huntsville, AL to support a high-profile federal ISaaS program. You will design secure architectures, integrate security configurations, and close gaps across enterprise portfolios while adhering to DoD/IC standards.

The role requires 8+ years in secure design, strong leadership, and active TS/SCI clearance (Polygraph required post-hire).

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of experience in secure design, analysis, and testing of information security systems.
• Eight+ years applying federal methods and standards to document security safeguards.
• Eight+ years of creating and updating security test plans to detect and mitigate risks.
• Documented leadership supervising teams of IT or security professionals.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance (Polygraph required post-hire).
• Certifications: CISSP or CEH (active).

Responsibilities

• Advisory & Design: Serve as a principal technical advisor on cybersecurity architecture, integrating security configurations into planned solutions.
• Controls Implementation: Partner with technical teams to build required security configurations, including MFA, centralized logging, and vulnerability remediation.
• SSP: Provide technical input for the development of the System Security Plan, ensuring data flows align with least privilege principles.
• Gap Remediation: Develop remediation approaches for control gaps identified through self-assessments.
