Job summary

San Joaquin County Information Systems Division (ISD) is seeking an Information Systems Analyst IV - Security Analyst to protect county systems, data, and infrastructure by supporting major cybersecurity tools and initiatives. This is a full-time position with annual salary in the range shown and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Provides highly advanced professional level support to departments with highly complex systems and programs.
• Designs and develops current or new systems for large and complex systems; analyzes user operations and business requirements to design and develop technology solution.
• Provides highly complex support in planning, developing, integrating, testing and evaluating the County’s local and wide area networks; determines network system requirements; studies the integrity and security of data to establish system configuration.
• Participates in the evaluation of network protocols, hardware and software to determine their applicability to County network needs; evaluates new applications to determine integration with current systems and applications.
• Performs database analysis, administration and maintenance duties; provides support to information technology staff in planning, designing and implementing databases.
