Job summary

Red Cedar TG is seeking a Senior Information Systems Architect to lead architecture across our application systems and IT infrastructure with a high degree of autonomy. You’ll own guiding principles, make sound judgments, and drive strategic outcomes for complex environments.

You’ll work with users, stakeholders, developers, and engineers to translate needs into scalable, secure solutions and roadmaps, staying ahead of trends while ensuring integration and reliability of the whole system.

Qualifications

• MA/MS degree in an IT or related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience; may substitute work experience.
• Ability to obtain a US government Secret clearance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work individually as well as with cross functional teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect driving force behind application systems and IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with users, stakeholders, developers, and engineers to build roadmaps.
• Assess interactions across systems; evaluate downstream impact before changes.
• Own the quality bar: usability, performance, reliability, and security.
